Home staging is really the opposite of decorating.  Instead of personalizing a space, you are actually making the space appeal to the largest range of prospective buyers. Many prospective buyers have a difficult time visualizing how the house could look, why not just make them feel right at home - you do, after all, want them to call it home! Make your house stand out instead of having to lower your price.  Just like a buyer uses a home inspector to make sure they're getting a good home . . . a seller should use a home stager to make sure they get a good offer! Staging Consultation:   Get all the ideas you need to prepare your home for sale!  During this consultation we will do a complete walk-through of your home, inside and out, discussing what to do in order to get your home to show its best and help get it sold! We will discuss what can be done in each room to optimize it's appearance to prospective buyers.  Furniture arrangement and traffic flow will be addressed along with paint colors and accessory placement.  The impact that these make on your home's appearance is important for having your home show well. You can take notes during the consultation to help guide you in staging your home or request the written report as an additional service. After the consultation you can then decide to do the work yourself or choose to have some or all of the rooms staged for you.  If you have chosen to stage the home yourself, you can then request an "after-staging" walk-through of your home to help tweak the results and answer any questions. (Fees are based on which services you choose and the size of you home.) Staging:  After a staging consultation you can choose which rooms you would like to have staged. Key rooms to consider are family/living rooms, master bedrooms and kitchens. Staging a room includes furniture rearrangement to optimize a room's appearance, de-cluttering in order to make the room the focus - not your stuff and optimal placement of accessories. You will be amazed at how rearranging what you already have can bring new life into your home without having to spend a lot.  The final result will be a room that prospective buyers will want for their own!  Receive $25 towards staging a room after completing a consultation! (Fees are quoted after a consultation and are based on the project size.  Painting services are also available and are listed at the bottom of this page.)  Open House Staging:  This service will make sure that your home will show it's best during an open house. This includes making sure there is a good traffic pattern with optimal furniture placement along with de-cluttering areas to make sure prospective buyers can see your beautiful home. This is a fast-paced, make it look great service.  It is good to do this one or two days before the open house.
