I have always loved arranging furniture,
painting, and making the best of what I've got. I'm always moving stuff around and making my spaces feel new.
The biggest challenge I've had was with our first house. We bought it in June 2005 and jumped right in to fixing
it up. I had several floor plans made of the remodel (those drafting classes from college really paid off) which included
converting the upstairs of this duplex into bedrooms and a hallway. The outside was not pretty either so we learned
to build a porch and install siding - this was a great time to meet neighbors - they were also glad to see the ugly house
go!
