QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What is Home Staging?

Home Staging is the process of making a house buyer-friendly.  This is done by reducing clutter, highlighting a home's best features, neutralizing colors, and seeing a home from the buyer's perspective.  Staging makes it possible for more people to have an emotional attachment to the house - which in turn will bring in more offers!

Simply Redesigned likes to Bring out the Best in your Home by using what you have to make your home look its best when selling.  We like to be Eco-friendly and budget-friendly and provide a inviting home by redesigning the space to look its best.

What are the benefits of Home Staging?

Staged homes will be presented better during showings which will attract a larger percentage of potential buyers.  These homes also show better on the Internet.  With such a positive response from buyers, these properties tend to spend less time on the market and also generate higher selling prices.

What are the typical costs?

A basic staging consultation costs between $75-$150 depending on the home's size.  Services you can add include receiving a written report for $25 and a one hour final walk-through after staging for $50 to answer any questions or help tweak the results before showing.

Interior Redesign Consultations are $75 and are used to plan out the design process of the room. Painting services are available and prices are listed on the interior redesign page.

We can discuss how to personalize the services to fit your needs and your budget.  Receive $25 towards staging or interior redesign services after a consultation.  All homes deserve to look their best!!  Feel free to call or email me with any pricing questions by going to my contact page.

What is the difference between Interior Redesigning and interior decorating?

Interior Redesigning uses what people already own compared to buying new items.  All it takes is a fresh look at your space to bring new life to your hidden treasures, while also being Eco-friendly

How long does it take to do an interior redesign?

A typical room takes one day to redesign.  On average around 3-5 hours.  If there is painting to be done it could take 2-3 days to complete depending on the amount of work to be done.

Do I need to be home?

This is completely up to you.  I do work quicker if I'm not distracted, so it would be best if I had the room to myself to work in, but it would be fine if you are somewhere else in the house during the redesign.  If this is a project including decluttering, you will need to be available.

How should I choose the services I need?

If you are unsure which service is right for you, check out my contact page and either email me or call me so that we can discuss what options would be best.

All redesigns need to be preceded by a consultation in order for me to learn about what you want and for me to be able to prepare everything for the redesign - to include finding out which other items are available for use in your home and for purchasing paint, when needed.
